I have always been fascinated with amazingly powerful successful people, like Tony Robbins, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Tiger Woods, and Celine Dion. and many others. Their success is intriguing to me. It’s also something I fantasize about in my own life.
Books and more books have been written about the 12 ways, the 7 ways, the 50 ways, 100 ways … the ONE way … etc, to become successful.
What holds true for me, as I have read through most of this success material are that there seems to be a set of “natural laws of the universe” if you will, that are guiding them and if you, yourself also adhere to and follow the same set of guidelines or laws of success, that are guiding these successful people … you too will become just as successful.
Become A Winner In Life
We are all given the same chances in life. The same opportunities. The same amount of time in the day. As a matter of fact … many of the people I just mentioned here, began from very humble beginnings.
Celine Dion began her life, the youngest of 14 children born to poor parents.
Tony Robbins came from a broken home, a controlling mother who did not want to see him succeed. He started out as a janitor.
Oprah Winfrey was sexually abused as a child and came from a very poor family … her mother worked as a maid cleaning houses, and at times had to rely of welfare to support the family.
Still others like Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and Tiger Woods were breed for success from the very start.
So, Suffice it to say, success has nothing to do with being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
What did these people have?
The first thing that every successful person has in common is their ability to dream … to imagine … to fantasize about a life beyond what they have right now. Through your imagination and your ability to fantasize, you are able to define for yourself what it really means to be a winner. Just daydream about what your life can be like. When you were growing up, you were probably told to STOP daydreaming. Yet, daydreaming holds the key to our true wants in life. Get in touch with what you REALLY want in life and find your life purpose.
Every successful person realizes that until you Commit to your Idea, it’s still just a fantasy. Take your idea from fantasy to reality by getting behind that idea. It’s not so important HOW you will achieve it. The how is the domain of the universe. It’s up to you to truly commit to it, which sets the wheels in motion. It tells the universe that you are serious. The way to win will be shown to you.
Visualization has been proven to be one of the most effective ways to bring your goals to fruition. Once you have already committed to the idea, great … now let’s see it happening in your mind. If you can see it, magically, it begins to becomes much more believable. Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between reality and imagination … so when you project the vision, you are having direct communication with the part of your mind responsible for creating your outcomes.
The successful people I have mentioned have good habits. There are things that they do each day religiously, just as you brush your teeth. They pray, practice their talent, write, work out … whatever habit is congruent with their goals and their vision. You are the total accumulation of all of your habits. Plain and simple. The more successful habits you have, the more successful you will be. Success habits are absolutely essential to becoming a winner. Do you ever stop to think about your habits or what habits might create more success for you? Break bad habits and adopt the success habits of those who you admire as a winner and you are certain to become more like that person.
Successful people look the part. Could your image prevent you from winning? A winner exudes a certain style, an image that breeds success. What does your image say about you? You’ve heard you need to dress for success. But do you understand exactly HOW to create your success image. Elements of a successful image include: the way you speak, behavior, your body language, how you dress, how you feel, and the action steps people and YOU see yourself taking.
How many times in your life have you heard, don’t do that, no you can’t, or other negative suggestions? These words build a strong wall between you and your ability to win. Break down that wall by positively programming your mind with the most inspiring, positive messages that you can. Put your brain on positive auto pilot by reinforcing the positive ideas that are essential to winning.
These are SIX guidelines to set you up to be a winner in your life. A winner of relationships. A winner of money. A winner in your career. A winner in sports. A winner in practically anything you can think of.
