Accepting versus Resisting
When we are faced with an issue in our lives, for example maybe you want to lose weight, or maybe you have found yourself single and you want to change that, or perhaps you have fallen ill ... our first inclination is to resist that change.
We want to push it as far away as possible and DO something to make it different than it is.
And this is called resistance. Resistance is a form of denial. You're not happy with the situation as it is and you want to CHANGE it, FIX it, and make it not be whatever it is.
What's wrong with that you ask? Of course if something is not working in ...
