How to Master the Law of Attraction and Positive Thinking

Here’s the truth about “mastering” the Law of Attraction: You can’t. Don’t lose hope or get discouraged, though! Here’s why you can’t master the Law of Attraction: There is no need to master it. The Law of Attraction is a natural, universal law that is always in motion. No matter what you do or think, this law is always working. It is part of the order and balance of the Universe. It takes zero effort to “use” the Law of Attraction to your benefit. What you can master, though, is positive thinking habits to help you create the life of your dreams. Here are a few simple techniques to help you develop positive thinking habits for a better, happier life:

1. Meditate!

Meditation is incredibly powerful, but many people may find excuses to not use it. If you’re new to meditation, try it for a week before you decide that it’s not the right one for you. Take 10-20 minutes out of your day, and meditate. Meditation basically means to clear your mind while focusing on something else that’s relaxing, so there are various ways to meditate, such as focusing on your deep breathing only, listening to soothing music, listening to hypnosis CDs, or even cooking. Meditation helps bring your mind back to the present so that you don’t fill it up with “what ifs” and other worries/stress.

2. Get into the habit of changing each negative thought and belief into a positive one.

A great exercise that you can do on a daily basis is to practice changing your negative thoughts and beliefs into positive ones. When you change your negative beliefs and thoughts, though, it doesn’t mean that you are denying anything. You are simply changing your frame of mind. Actually, the Universe doesn’t even run on good and bad. Everything just exists. If you can, simply let things be as they are; otherwise, start changing your mindset into a more positive one with this exercise.

3. Just say no.

Whenever a negative thought or belief comes up, interrupt it and just say no. Don’t entertain the negative thought or justify a negative belief because you will only attract situations and thoughts that are similar to it. When you keep a negative thought in your mind, it’s telling the Universe you want that type of thought, so it will give you more. Saying no will help you retrain your mind into stopping negative thoughts. It will also give you time to think of positive ones to replace those negative thoughts.

Studies show that developing a new habit takes 21 days, so this is your chance to challenge yourself and take 21 days to practice developing positive thinking habits. Not only will you be able to change your mindset, but you will also be able to change the reality you live in by mastering positive thinking.
