I have rheumatoid arthritis and I need all the help I can get! This product is great. Listening to Victoria and her words of wisdom and encouragement, is quite helpful. Visual imagery and positive thoughts. Drinking more water, being mindful of sodium, thinking about what we can do to be healthier. Concentrating on our positive life does help. Being negative just feeds the body with toxins! Hypnosis has been a part of my life for the last 4 years. I sleep better, eat better, have less anxiety & have list weight! I particularly like one of the two sessions, Positive Thoughts for Wellness, which contains...well, positive thoughts! In truth, at first it seemed not very effective but, after a few weeks listening to it every day, I found myself changing my mood, as if, whenever I was negative about something, Victoria's voice was in my head remembering positive thoughts. And it took a few weeks more before I became aware this change has happened!

Positive thoughts for wellness-
This session contains affirmations for wellness and also some suggestions for thoughts you think, foods to eat and taking care of body. It helps you to have a positive self-image about your health and stop negative thoughts that allow illness in your body. The body naturally responds to the thoughts you think and a lot of times these run unconsciously in the back of your mind. It helped me recognize them and stop those thoughts.
Stay Well-
This session contains a creative visualization for boosting up the immune system by going inside the body over various parts and healing yourself. I had a lot of fun listening to it.

The "Stay Healthy" hypnosis sessions give you tools for mentally coping with the stress of flu season. The hypnosis sessions give you relief from the fear of getting sick.

The first session, "Positive Thoughts for Wellness", uses the powerful induction of opening and closing your eyes. (I believe this is called fractionalization.) The hypnosis session suggests that positive thoughts create a shield for you against the flu. The hypnosis session also suggests you have a strong attraction to a list of foods high in antioxidants like strawberries, blueberries, etc. if they are safe for you to eat. The session suggests drinking lots of water and maintaining only positive thoughts is also included. The suggestion of saying "STOP" loudly when you hear negative conversations may be a little uncomfortable to your friends and family around you so be warned.

The second session, "Stay Well" uses the tried and true induction of a "ball of light" to bring you to a state of relaxation. The induction is strengthened by the suggestion of tingling in your right hand. The hypnosis session then focuses on visualizing "golden helpers" of your immune system going through all the parts of your body and eliminating any ailments. I found this session particularly nice since it did a good job of relieving fear of illness and accompanying stress.

Overall, I think this hypnosis session is a new tool to add to your tool box in keeping you healthy since it relieves stress and that promotes health. Mostly, this hypnosis session helps relieve anxiety about your health and fear of illness, but really isn't a substitute to medical care.

I still follow the advice of my old Jewish doctor when he told me to :

1. Get a Flu Shot every year.
2. Rub name brand "Neosporin" ointment on the inside of my nose to kill viruses and bacteria you breath in during the day.
3. Use a "netting pot" or more preferably a "SinuCleanse Squeeze" to irrigate you nasal passages with a saline lavage.
4. Take Vitamin-C and a Multi-Vitamin.
5. Get enough sleep.
6 Use a "Personal Steamer" to use steam at night before bed to kill bacteria and viruses you breath in during the day.
7. Take medications to relieve allergies so that you don't produce excess mucus that provides a medium to grow flu viruses or bacteria.
