This hypnosis recording is for those who want to be more confident, courageous, and less anxious in combat. Hypnosis has a proven track record for preparing fighters for combat since hypnosis has been used for years by the martial arts to prepare for combat and was where I was first introduced to hypnosis as a teenager studying karate.

The hypnosis session begins with an induction which consists of two parts to develop a very deep trance. The first part begins with verbal affirmations of the word "yes" as your hypnotic trigger to get you to relax and into a trance. This induction is very effective if you have listened to it several times before since you will have a Pavlov's dog response and immediately go into trance upon hearing the word "yes." The second part of the induction has you visualize walking down a series of ten steps and is very powerful.

The suggestion portion of the hypnosis session is broken into roughly three parts: the first part has you imagining a peaceful wilderness scene, imagining a combat scenario, and affirmations. In the first part, you are suggested to imagine an imagined natural scene where you feel calm, aware, and alert with the ability to react to anything. Additionally, you are suggested to feel confident, strong, courageous, and composed in this imagined nature scene. Further, you are suggested to say the special word "survive" to bring back the feelings of confidence and calmness of this imagined natural scene.

In the second part, you are suggested to rehearse in your mind a combat scenario in your mind where you use your special word "Survive" to restore calmness and confidence. You are suggested to feel focused, alert, energetic and having dead on accurate shooting while in this imagined combat scenario. Also, you are suggested to have the ability to be unstoppable, perform like a superhero and a new person when you say the word "Survive."

In the third part, you repeat various affirmations such as "I maintain control of my breathing and my heart rate" (very helpful when shooting) and "you survive all your combat missions." Finally, you are you are taken out of the trance by being suggested to awaken at the count of five.

Overall, I found the hypnosis session helpful because I felt it will allow me to be more prepared to function much more effectively during combat. I would also recommend you also purchase HypTalk's "How to Meditate" download because meditating is like doing reps for your mind, i.e. resistance training to distraction which will enable you not to "choke" or panic under pressure. I would also recommend you purchase "True Courage" because this hypnosis session will allow you to focus on developing courage specifically.

I’m a former Army spouse and military reporter—I’ve met a lot of soldiers who’d benefit from this hypnosis program. Sometimes prevention is the best cure, so I’d recommend it as a pre-deployment regimen, where it’s listened to for 30 days in the United States. Then, it can be used while also on a deployment. The reason for this is there’s less adrenaline and stress affecting the system in a pre-deployment state—so less interference to overcome.

For any soldier, mental preparedness is essential to a healthy state of mind and a fulfilling career. The military definitely handles the physical act of preparedness, but it lacks the skill to spiritually and emotionally and mentally prepare units for deployment. Until the military fully appreciates the importance of a well-rounded warrior, it’s up to individuals to personally develop as a means of achieving professional success.
