Creativity In Writing Starts By Getting Rid Of Writer’s Block

Creativity in writing is one of those things that is sometimes hard to acquire yet easy to lose. One moment, you are inspired to finish the last few lines of a poem that you are writing, and then the next moment you suddenly can’t write single line. Especially when you are doing writing for a living, being burned out of  writing can really take its toll on you. Writer’s block is something that just comes and goes, and there is nothing wrong with you if you suffer from it from time to time. But if you are able to get rid of writer’s block once and for all, wouldn’t you want to take that chance instead?

Our creativity in writing is a result of our experiences — and even shared experiences — that we have accumulated over time. The talents, skills and the ability to create something out of nothing is not an unlimited well that we can just pull water from anytime we want to though.  Creativity is also limited and can be taken away by stress, negative thoughts and bad feelings — which is why most writers often find their own “quiet place” when writing. But no matter how quiet your place is, a troubled mind is hard to  go up against. If you are consistently and constantly experiencing a writer’s block, you might need to dig deeper and find a way to appease your subconscious mind.

The thing is, when you are experiencing a writer’s block, you are like a dam holding in the water inside of your mind. You know you have all the creativity, but you just can’t let it go because there is a wall in your mind that bothers your thoughts and controls your emotions and your subconscious.
