Is It Really That Hard To Find A Job? Or Is Keeping A Job Harder?

In the last few years, I have met a lot of people who seem to have lost their enthusiasm for their work. When friends and acquaintances start to talk about their lifestyle and how they wish the clock would run faster when they go to work, I can’t help but think about the people who are broke and can’t find a job.

Is it really that hard to find a job nowadays?

In my previous post, I talk about the topic of changing one’s mindset in order to attract employment. And although I did mention the power of self-hypnosis and mind conditioning when it comes to task of finding a job, sometimes this task is more than just a mental battle.

People complain that they can’t find a job, but once they find one they take it for granted and in the end they lose their jobs to other more competent people. Does that story ring a bell to you?

How To Find A Job That You Will Keep

To find a job that you will keep is not an easy task. But if you follow these simple guidelines, I am sure that you will have a better chance for success:

  • Find A Job That You Truly Love – If you are not even remotely interested in doing, I assure you going to work everyday will be a battle for you. Like what I always say, find a job that you truly love. The money and success will follow someone who has genuine love for his or her craft!
  • Look For A Healthy Working Environment – Sometimes, a bad working environment can really make you hate your job. If all your colleagues or your boss promotes a negative aura within the work environment, time will come when the negativity starts to creep into you and you begin to lose interest in your job.
  • Give Yourself A Chance – Sometimes, the problem with people is that they don’t give themselves a chance to love their jobs. Upon the first sign of failure and negativity, people look for an easy way out. Fight your way and give yourself a chance to learn and love your job. Sometimes this is all you need in order to truly appreciate how great your job is!

Find a job that you will keep and you will never have to find a job again! Attracting employment is one tricky thing, but keeping your job and loving every minute of it is one aspect of employment that many people often overlook. Don’t make the same mistake!

  • I have friends who continually complain they cannot find a job. While unemployment is an issue, I do think there are jobs out there. Thankfully, I have always had a job or business. Often it means changing your mindset and having a positive attitude. I do agree you need to walk away from very negative and miserable situations, knowing something better is right around the corner. Being a team player and doing your best makes a big difference at any job.

  • Indeed, looking for a job is not easy and it never will be. Most companies require a certain degree of educational attainment or background before they hire you. They have requisites and countless of requirements to satisfy before they give you the go signal. For individuals with low educational backgrounds, ex-convicts and the likes, looking for a stable job will never be easy. Thus the need to give priority on education for future preferences.
