Alcohol addiction affects you on every level; emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and of course physically. It can be a huge challenge to overcome drinking alcohol because when a person drinks as a way of life, removing the element of alcohol causes you to have to change your life and choose a new set of healthy habits, friends, and hobbies. It truly is like getting a life makeover.

Change is scary for so many people. As you are getting and staying sober, not only will there be the process of breaking that physical dependency and withdrawal, but your entire life is going to change. It makes sense why so many people are attracted to the AA system because now you automatically have a new set of friends who understand what you are about to go through.

What makes it not so effective however is a constant reinforced belief that is pounded into your subconscious mind, that “we were powerless over alcohol.”

Many people have quit drinking without AA and without a religious or spiritual context.

Many people have quit drinking with hypnosis. Rather than giving yourself daily dosages of wiring your brain to believe you are “powerless over alcohol,” hypnosis gives you the power to stop drinking alcohol and change your life for the better and permanently.

Unlike trying to quit drinking, using willpower, which is usually fruitless and ineffective, hypnosis goes straight to the source, the level of mind where habits and emotions are stored. Hypnosis helps you to change your thought patterns and create new patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Hypnosis takes the element of emotion out of your drinking so that you can make a clear and conscious choice which is driven by your reason and your logic and not by the emotional ties you have to drinking.

In our newest release, Quit Drinking Alcohol, there are four sessions:

• Breaking Free of Alcohol
• Higher Power
• Parts Therapy
• Aversion to Alcohol

Breaking Free of Alcohol: This session helps you to develop in your mind a vision of a life free of alcohol. The visualization of this “new life” movie will only help you in your quest to overcome the urge to drink.

Higher Power: This session is meant to inspire. It provides you with the confidence you’ll need in making the changes in your life you want to. It will help you to committ to the hypnosis sessions and put in the time necessary to help in the re-tooling of your mind.

Parts Therapy: This session will help you to isolate the part of your mind that wants to drink alcohol and to treat it as just that. Once you’ve isolated it, you can begin to work on it and eventually control it. And with control, you will find you can do anything.

Aversion to Alcohol: This session will help you to connect the parts of your mind that detest certain things to the feeling you get when drinking alcohol. This re-wiring of the mind will help you to come to hate the very idea of drinking. The power is within you. You just need to put your mind to it.

Hypnosis is a valuable tool for self-empowerment and continuous personal growth. Put the power of your mind to work in managing your urges. This method of utilizing the untapped energy of your mind to support your overall health and well-being is natural, safe, and simple.

Yes, it would work on drug addiction. You’d have to switch up the words I’m saying to relate to your particular situation. I’ll make one for Drugs down the road, but it’s not on my immediate schedule. Best of luck to you.
