I bought this seesion a long time ago and have tried many times over the last few months to listen to it. I have felt that if I could feel more love and compassion for people then I would be more comfortable in social situations, and in my work i would be a lot kinder and more compassionate. Unfortunately for some reason i find this track really difficult to get into. I'm not sure why but something in just doesn't resonate with me. maybe I need to do some more work on my self love before I do this one again. it's funny how some things arrive at the right time and sometimes the timing is not right, but some time down the track, it's perfect. i think this is one for some time down the track.

This meditation focuses on a Buddhist concept, called Metta. I've never heard of this before so looked up the information on line. I learned that Metta is a rough translation of Loving Kindness. Practicing a Metta or Loving Kindness meditation increases your capacity for compassion toward all living beings. I've listened to this for about 3 months or so and I find I am not so judgmental towards others. At the start of this practice, I had to remind myself to stop resenting someone who didn't act the way I think they should act. Non-judgement of others is becoming 2nd nature to me now. This compassion and love is not just good for me either - no matter how small, this love and kindness affects others as well - in ways that I may never know. That's powerful stuff!

This is such a powerful, amazing and wonderful session. I'm almost lost for words! Only a few minutes in I felt such an amazing, loving feeling in my body. Makes you feel connected with everything, so good!

Listening to this download made me want to learn more about Metta. It is a very interesting concept and not easy to practice. I struggle with it every day, especially with those who have wronged me. I find so many whirls of swirling funk in my head sometimes, especially when pressures are mounting. Practicing loving kindness in my "downtime" has given my tired ol brain something to grab a hold of and help to replace the swirling self defeating muck that often shows up to torment me.

It seems like with all of the negativity in the world these days, I had been feeling like my heart had hardened to the point of withering my soul. I decided to try this download and every time I listen to it I feel so much more loving, less angry at the world and more in harmony with my true self.

Victoria's approach in this recording is to strongly emphasize over and over again, in a variety of ways, that you are a loving person towards everyone, and it works quite well. In short, this program builds in you a strong desire (perhaps even a compulsion) to treat everyone in a kind, loving fashion, and rounds this out with well-selected complementary traits such as gratitude, acceptance, and the like.

After listening to it, I could feel how much more I seemed to be practically compelled to love everybody I encountered, and it was a very pleasant feeling. Further, this loving attitude and the behavior that it resulted in when interacting with others had a strong, positive impact overall on people, which I also appreciated.
