Accept Change Meditation

Change is an inevitable part of life.

The world is in a constant state of change, evolution and development.

Accepting change can be very difficult to do. Even when the change is a good change. It has been hardwired in your brain since before you were even born to resist change! There are neurons or nerve cells in your brain that are found to have fear receptors.

These neurons produce chemicals that actually create fear in your mind. Just as animals are hard-wired to fear predators, humans may in fact be hard-wired to fear change.

When it comes to change, you may want everything to stay the same or status quo. However, there really is no such thing. Everything, including every cell in your body is in a constant state of movement. And that movement is either moving toward healing or moving toward dying. There is no steady or in between stage, it's one way or another.

Change is part of life and existence, and change often brings new opportunities--sometimes good ones. Change can be rather uncomfortable and create a bit of fear and anxiety. The good news is, if you're feeling uncomfortable, it likely means you're in a stage of growth in your life.

Contrarily, if you're too comfortable, then you're probably not growing and unfortunately, you are in a state of decaying.

Regardless of the cycle you find yourself in now, you need to learn how to embrace change and that's exactly what we'll do in this meditation.
