This hypnosis recording is essential for anyone who wants to be more resilient to today's constant change because you will be able to operate outside your comfort zone. If you are a control freak with obsessive/compulsive type personality because control makes you feel more secure then this hypnosis session will allow you to grow and experience more in the world thus not get trapped in a dead end job or rut.

The hypnosis session begins with an induction where you are asked to first visualize breathing in white light and exhaling all of your negative energies. You are then instructed to visualize different colors representing different areas of your body, i.e. your seven chakras or energies. You are asked to visualize red for you root chakra at the base of your spine, orange at your navel, yellow at your solar plexus, green at your heart, purple at your forehead and white light at the crown chakra at your head.

The suggestion portion of the hypnosis session is broken into roughly three parts. The first part suggests that you ready to push beyond your comfort zone and be adventurous. Additionally, you are suggested to be willing to take on new challenges and risks. Further, you are suggested to break on through and see a new part of life.

In the second part, you are suggested to visualize a large multiplex movie theater where in the one theater you see your old life as dark and boring while in the other theater you see your new life as bright and exciting. You visualize doing all the things you want to do in your new life.

In the third part, you are suggested to embrace life, and not be held back by outdated ideas. Further, you are suggested to want this new life and being ready for this new life. Additionally, you are suggested to see yourself doing things you never thought you could do and rising to the challenge. Finally, you are you are taken out of the trance by being suggested to awaken at the count of five.

Overall, I found the hypnosis session important to my personal growth because I crave security so much that I miss out on a lot of opportunities from my negative emotional reactions due to having an extremely unstable childhood with a substance abusing parent. I would also recommend you also purchase HypTalk's "True Courage," "Circle of Confidence," "Resilience" and "Stop Self-Sabotage" downloads.

I found this session a little difficult to listen to repeatedly. The quality of the visualisation work is great but I found it might be a bit fixed in time. This download asks you to visualise your current self on a screen surrounded by a thick, dark frame, and to imagine your future surrounded by a bright shiny frame. I found this excellent on when I first listened to it as it allowed me to focus in on what I felt was a problem in my life and how I wanted to improve, however when listening again I felt like I was being reset to my current life being 'bad' and my future life being 'good,' even though i'd already felt better about my current life. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was asked to imagine negative thoughts as already in the past rather than bringing them strongly back to the present.

Personally I dislike inductions that force me to visualize colors or situations. They frustrate me and actually bring up negative feelings which makes the relaxation process impossible. Having to go through the process every time is just not possible for me. Don't know how anyone is able to stick with a 21 to 30 day routine to get the change they want. I can't imagine anyone being willing to do that in a true therapy situation where they are spending $100-$200 a session.

Personally I'd like various induction options to order from.

Before I provide my review, a little background: I have admittedly been in a rut, which a lot of us can fall into. The rut, however, was not working for me, as though I am admittedly comfortable, there is more that I would like to do with my life, but have yet to pursue. Looking to change my routines, I opted to give Victoria's program a try.

At first, I did not think it was working, but I was wrong. It was only after a mental review of the past few days that I was able to see that I had made numerous changes to my routine which had initially escaped my conscious attention, such as changing my writing routine, changing my exercise routine, and completely deviating from my normal Sunday evening meal routine in particular. That last one is what finally caught my attention, as it was the easiest to see, as I opted to go out to a restaurant instead of eating food from home like I normally do.

At this time, I'm planning on sticking with this program a bit more, just to see what other changes may occur in my life.
