This is a great hypnosis session to stay present and forget about everything. I use it especially when I feel resentment from things of the past. I sometimes get caught on the hurt others have caused me and keep it in my head for a long time. Even when I have moved forward, I still sometimes remember those things, and that is when I use it, to stay present and calm. Also when I obsess about things I want for my future. It helps to forget those things and stay present.

Most of my downloads from HypTalk are what I call"working" sessions, where I am working on quitting a bad habit or improving a personal or professional skill. This listening session is different in that I spend 30 minutes deeply relaxing and visualizing peaceful scenarios and memories. This is a godsend at work when things are hectic - better than a nap or a liquid lunch! :-)

This meditation Live Peacefully in the Moment honors what gives life to all living this: our breath. Listeners journey through a meditation that shows us how tap into the stillness inside by focusing on the breath. The breathing isn’t forced or harsh, just a smooth soft focus on the gift of breathing.
What I love about this meditation is that this awareness of breath seeps into the subconscious mind and throughout the meditation, you feel calm, relaxed and fully alive. I tend to use it when my mind is racing and I need a moment to calm down and just enjoy stillness. And I love this meditation too because throughout my day, again, when I need to enjoy a quiet moment or two, I know how to focus on my breathing. It gives me a “vacation,” even if only for few minutes from the world around me.
This meditation is lovely, important, and a great addition to any library of meditations.

Victoria, I love the induction. There is no mention made of Buddhism in this recording, which is fine--just mindfulness. Why scare anyone away? This CD mixes mindfulness with hypnosis, creating a powerful meditation and daily practice. Due to the hypnosis, I sometimes drift from mindfulness, which is watching the breath, into the start of a dream; but I catch myself and think, "Watch the breath!" This selection will teach you how to calm all those intrusive thoughts that plague you and bring peace of mind, relatively soon.

This session is a patchwork of Victoria’s skills. It starts with a quite classic Elman induction: the eyes test, then a body relaxation and then a count down from 100. Victoria takes a turn and the session becomes a meditation exercise for being mindful of one’s breathing. This gentle trance is mixed with hypnotic suggestions to become aware and let go of one’s thoughts. And then the trance really becomes very deep, it is extremely calming, relaxing and powerful -amazingly soothing!
Near the end of the session Victoria brings in some of her (I think) best material from a previous session: Hypnosis to help you let go. (Check it out!) She leads you into a powerful way to to let go of obsessive thoughts (and other stuck emotions or beliefs) in a very subtle and gentle manner, seeing that there is no hold for these or any anxiety.
The session ends with a mantra for happiness -beautiful! The background music is also really delicate and moves through the session. My only regret is the slightly brutal ending of awakening back into daily life.
