How to Create Effective Law of Attraction Affirmations

Affirmations, along with visualizations, are extremely powerful tools to help you use the Law of Attraction effectively.

Affirmations are used to help you transform yourself and your life into what you want; but it’s not that easy. The subconscious mind can interfere with what you want and affect your energy because it holds all the information you have obtained throughout your life from other people, including negative beliefs and thoughts. With affirmations, though, you can overwrite your programming and make your subconscious mind align with the thoughts of your conscious mind and your true desires in life. Use these simple tips to help you create effective Law of Attraction affirmations:

1. Write your affirmations in the past or present.

The Law of Attraction says that you need to think and feel what you want to attract what you want, so you need to feel like you have it already. When you create your affirmations, be sure to write them in the past or present. For instance, if you want to feel and be beautiful, write an affirmation like this: “I am beautiful.” This affirmation is written in the present, and an example for an effective affirmation written in the past can be something like this: “I have a brand new 2014 Nissan Altima.” Avoid using affirmations that make you feel like you don’t have what you want, such as “I want to earn $1,000 per month.” Words are powerful tools because they make you feel a certain way. Create affirmations so that they help you believe you have received what you want already.

2. Think about the persistent, negative thoughts and beliefs you want to overwrite.

If you have negative thoughts or beliefs that interfere with getting what you want, list them in a journal and create affirmations to change them. For instance, if you think constantly that you can’t lose weight, change your thoughts to “I am able to lose weight.” There’s your new affirmation! Whenever the thought or belief you don’t want comes up in your mind, fight back with the new affirmation until your subconscious accepts your new thought/belief.

3. Enhance your affirmations

Simple affirmations such as “I am earning $10,000 per month” and “I am comfortable with myself” are effective, but you can enhance simple affirmations to make them even more effective for you. There are various words you can add to your affirmations to make them more effective. For example, if you want to manifest more money into your life, you can either say “I am earning $10,000 per month” or “I am earning $10,000 effortlessly.” By using the word “effortlessly,” you add more calmness and reassurance to your feelings, so it will help raise your vibration. You can use words such as “easily,” “effortlessly,” “comfortably,” etc., in your affirmations to make them easier for your mind to accept.

With affirmations, you must repeat them to yourself daily for at least 30 minutes or every 5 minutes of each hour you’re awake to help raise your energy frequency. In time, you’ll have your subconscious working with you rather than against you.
