NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming

In case you're not familiar with Neuro Linguistic Programming, the words break down as follows: Neuro means brain. Linguistic means Language. Simply put, this is programming in the language that your mind speaks. There are many ways to send messages directly to your subconscious mind.

Reframing

An NLP technique commonly used to break up the automatic mechanism to panic as well as phobia.

The panic response is based on a forward moving, associated reaction. You see a snake, you freak out. We can break that up by dissociating it and reversing it until the threshold is crossed.

In the Anxiety Relief hypnosis program, technique number four is an exercise called The Projection Room. You will easily be guided through the entire process. And your subconscious mind will learn how to break up the old response patterns.

Anchor

Another NLP technique. An anchor is simply a stimulus response pattern that you can tap into. You already use anchors and just arent aware of it. Anchors utilize all of your physical senses, taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing to program certain responses. For example, whenever you hear certain songs on the radio that make you feel a certain way, that is an anchor. To hear the song and it suddenly changes your mood. You see a couple holding hands, that triggers another memory and creates a response. You smell something and suddenly remember the way your lover smelled on your first date or the way your moms home-cooked meals gives you feeling a warmth and safety.

The anchors usually are created during heightened emotional experiences, positive experiences and negative experiences. Knowing this information gives you the power to do incredible things in your life. Based on one key concept, you are controlled by your emotional state. And now you can choose a response you want to have associated with specific stimulus. In this case the stimulus we will be using is touching your thumb and forefinger together. For other anchors you will want to create, you will need to create a unique stimulus for each anchored state you wish to create. The following technique is a hypnosis session to anchor in peace. One more item worth mentioning about anchors is the more you use them, the more powerful they will become.
